No Justice for Dusty? What is WRONG with this world?

It is a sign of a very sick and sad society when juveniles can get away with this kind of abuse. According to the recent article in the Lawton Constitution News in Lawton, Oklahoma, the two boys who cruelly abused a family cat and posted their abuse videos to YouTube, will be prosecuted as juveniles, despite their obvious pre-meditated plan to produce their "movie", which included wearing masks on camera as if they were in some Ninja-fight movie, and talking about a future production which would involve running over the cat with the lawnmower - and filming it, of course.

They had the forethought to plan out this grand production of supreme animal abuse, yet they are to be treated like children and spanked and sent to their rooms. SICK. It's just SICK. It makes me believe even less (than I already do) in our system of justice in this country. It's not fair - has never been fair - and after this, I've concluded it will never get better.

If this had happened in my household, I can assure you there would be no need for the "legal system", as I have my own legal system I would impart upon my children should they ever do something so uncaring and cruel. I can assure you, they'd be better off in jail then being at home.

I do NOT put up with animal abusers. Animals are creatures of God, and abuse of an animal is just as bad as abuse of a human, in my opinion. Should these boys have abused the teenage girl down the street, or the child of a friend of the family, I am sure the case would be directed quite differently. Unfortunately the powers-that-be do not value animals as they do humans, and that's one thing that has - does - and will continue to disgust me about this world we live in.

Mahatma Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."

Watch this, Rowdy, I can bounce the ball off my nose.

Atta boy, hit it back...I got it, I got it!

Phew, this tennis is darn good exercise! Think I'll give Rowdy a turn now.

See my fancy footwork? Bet Oreo can't do this!

And here's my tennis pro look...just call me Mr. Intense.
With fancy footwork,of course. :)

ACEO - art cards, editions and originals

I'm excited to announce our new photographs are available as ACEO's. ACEO stands for art card, editions and originals. These are collectible miniatures, measuring 2.5" x 3.5" in size, which is the standard for being an ACEO. These cards fit in standard trading card size albums, and often collectors keep their miniatures in an album like this, however, there are many other unique ways to display ACEO miniatures.

Ours are produced the same photo paper as our high quality, artist signed prints we do here in studio. We then mount each miniature photo print to coordinating color card stock, which is tented - meaning once you remove the card from it's sleeve, it can stand up on your desk just like a greeting card...but in miniature! :)

These also look amazing when matted and framed and hung on the wall. ACEOs make great gifts too...they can be included in birthday cards, they make lovely, affordable housewarming gifts, perfect gifts for boss or co-workers, even if you'd like to give a favorite customer something unique...these will work well! See the ACEO's we have listed here.

We are adding all of our photographs as ACEO prints, in a limited edition of only *8 cards* per design. Cards are labeled, signed and numbered on the back. Once the edition of 8 is sold out, no more of that image will be produced as an ACEO sized print.

We hope you will enjoy collecting our photos in miniature as much as you enjoy the larger size prints we offer. :)

Try The ABUSER as an ADULT

Let's Get Justice for Dusty!

Exhausted
Print Available here.

How could *anyone* abuse something so sweet as what's pictured above? Well that's exactly what this kid -a.k.a a lot of other things I'd like to call him but won't- did. See for yourself...go here to read and sign the petition about how this kid abused the family cat and posted video's on youtube. He apparently even has a website - which I will not go to, nor will I mention his name on my blog because he doesn't deserve it. What he DOES deserve is a good beating himself and I imagine from the looks of the signatures hitting this petition, there's a lot of people out there who would love to stone him or worse.

I honestly can say, right now, he's lucky there is a legal system in place and that the majority of the people in this country DO abide by the law, because if not, he'd probably already be beaten - or worse, he'd be dead.

This kid has no right to be on the streets, and never, ever should be allowed in the presence of an animal...unless it's one who can take HIM on (like to see what my Max would do with him). He needs some serious counseling while he sits in jail and hopefully will sit there as an ADULT. Sign the petition - help bring this animal abuser to justice!

Why we're going bright...The Reasons Behind Coloresque

We don’t just notice colors, we feel them. Mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, they empower and uplift us. From morning until night, they dominate our life, transforming nature’s energy into our own personal realization. Every color has its own personality and in each lies knowledge, clarity, and understanding.

Color exerts a powerful influence upon our minds and emotions. Color is not a lifeless, static, phenomenon, as many people seem to think. It is a vital force, a very strong power and influence over our lives, and there is an abundance of brilliant color hidden within the “normal” colors our eyes see.

Color is awakened within our photographs, and the amazing affects will subtly become infused into your life. While any time is a good time to enrich your life with rich and vibrant color, now is an even better time to do so. It is a proven fact dull, muddy colors indicate – and encourage – depression, unhappiness, and boredom. There’s no doubt events occur in everyone’s life which can cause periods of the blahs. Yet the time spent in these moments can be less…if you choose to add brighter colors to your environment.

Color is a nutrient for the mind, just as vitamins are for the body. As little as two minutes of exposure to a rainbow of bright color will sharpen your mind. Vibrant and bright colors can transform a sour or sad mood very quickly, and bring inspiration and encouragement back into your life. Just glancing at a burst of glowing color creates restoration and renewal.

By filling your surroundings with your favorite subjects portrayed in our Coloresque photos, you will feel better in all areas of your life, thanks to vivid, brilliant color.

Our photographic prints make great additions to home and office decor, especially when you desire to add a burst of color into a not-so-colorful location. For those who already have a bright and colorful room, our photos fit in perfectly. :) Our prints and our products with our imagery make fabulous greetings and gifts for the special people in your life. How blessed they will be that you have chosen imagery which cannot be found in a multitude of mass-market locations. They will feel truly special.

Visit our new store to select your favorite prints and cards.

Never Forgotten

Thousands of years ago, cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.

This is a photo of Mr. T. There is some speculation as to whether Mr. T is a Ragdoll. According to the research I've done and various websites I've visited such as SolidRagdoll.Com, it is my determination he is what is called a solid black mitted Ragdoll cat.

Regardless of that, it doesn't matter to me really what *kind* of cat he is for sure --> what matters to me is finding his owner here in South Jackson, TN, or finding him a home...this cat doesn't need to be an outdoor cat...he needs a good, loving home where he can thrive indoors. He's very loving toward us, follows us around, wants to be petted, and likes to sit on laps.

My cats are not accepting him into their little pack - I don't know how he would do with another cat in a home. He tries to play rough if you tickle his belly aggressively or mess with his back feet...since he is so strong, I wouldn't recommend he be alone with young children as the rough play might hurt them. He isn't fond of my German Shepherd - but then the dog charges toward him like a maniac (no surprise there with Max!), which I'm sure is scaring him to death. He would probably get along with a docile dog after a period of "getting to know one another".

Ragdoll Cat Found in South Jackson, TN!

We feel quite certain our stray we've been calling Mr. T (who we believe to be the kitten's father) is a Ragdoll. He fits the criteria, has the mannerisms, and appears to be a solid black mitted Ragdoll. He is huge, and heavy...I believe he probably weighs 12-15 pounds. We are searching for his owner. We are located in South Jackson, TN close to Highland Avenue in the Marketplace Grocery Store area. If you have lost this cat, or know who may have lost him, please email me!
